Most the roofing companies uses asphalt roofing shingles for residential projects. Thanks to the low cost of materials, asphalt composition roofs offer a great way to build or replace a roof at low cost, and has the quality everyone is looking for. Additionally, most communities and HOA’s seem to support this type of roof. Asphalt composition roofs typically include a 30-year warranty. However, in some cases, lifetime manufacturer warranties are available.
Impact resistant, or IR shingles, can sustain greater impacts and are considered a higher grade shingle. IR shingles have the added benefit of lowering insurance premiums, but usually don’t receive any bonus to their warranty. We typically use Owens Corning, TAMKO, or GAF materials and offer a wide range of colors.
